Bookkeeper
An established organisation based in Ipswich is seeking a Bookkeeper to join its finance team on a part time (15 hours per week) permanent basis. This role is fully office-based and will play a key part in managing payroll and day-to-day finance operations, supporting accurate reporting and regulatory compliance.The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, purchase ledger management, and supporting broader financial reporting activities, working closely with internal departments including HR and senior management.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess end-to-end monthly payroll accurately and on timeManage the purchase ledger, including supplier invoices and paymentsCarry out credit control activities and follow up on aged debtPrepare weekly financial reports, including: Cashflow reportsPayroll summariesAccounts receivable and accounts payable reportsSupport the preparation of management accountsAssist with audits, compliance, and regulatory requirementsLiaise closely with HR and internal stakeholders to ensure payroll accuracy and compliancePerson SpecificationAAT qualified, studying towards ACCA or CIMA, or equivalent practical experienceProven experience in payroll processing and purchase ledger managementStrong working knowledge of Xero and Microsoft ExcelGood understanding of UK payroll processes and financial controlsAbility to work accurately, manage deadlines, and handle confidential informationDesirable ExperienceBackground within healthcare ..... full job details .....
