Finance Support Officer - Adult Social Care
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Adult Social Care Self Directed Support Team.This role plays a vital part in supporting adult social care clients, carers and families who receive support through Direct Payments and/or Individual Service Funds. If you have strong finance experience, excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering a customer-focused service, we would love to hear from you.Trinity Road, Bootle, Merseyside, L20 3NJ £13.50 per hour 36 hours per week 9-month contract (Maternity Cover) Start ASAPThe RoleYou will be responsible for supporting the financial administration of client accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance and transparency.Key duties include:Reconciling client accounts and calculating balancesProducing audit reports, identifying variances and processing reclaimsProcessing and arranging payment of care billsSupporting clients, carers and families with financial queriesWorking collaboratively with internal teams and external partner agenciesThis is a busy and responsible role that requires accuracy, organisation and the ability to manage your own workload effectively.About YouPrevious experience working in a finance settingExcellent numeracy skills and strong attention to detailExperience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Confidence in learning new IT systemsExperience delivering a customer-focused serviceThe ability to communicate sensitively with vulnerable adultsThe ability to work independently with minimal ..... full job details .....
