Hays Education are working with a supportive primary school in the Dudley area who are seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher to join them from March. This is a full-time position running until the end of the academic year. Your New Role: In this role, you will take full responsibility for the Year 6 class during a crucial period in the academic calendar. Your duties will include: Planning, preparing and delivering high quality lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculumFocusing heavily on SATS preparation, including stretch activities, intervention groups, and mock examsSupporting pupils'' progress and confidence as they work towards their assessmentsDifferentiating effectively, as the class includes a small number of SEN pupils.Working closely with support staff to meet all pupils'' needsAttending meetings, including team meetings, reviews and parents'' eveningsCreating a positive, motivating learning environment that encourages high achievement What You''ll Need to Succeed: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Previous experience teaching in Year 6 and strong understanding of KS2 SATsProven ability to raise attainment and deliver targeted interventionsStrong behaviour management and classroom organisationConfidence in supporting SEN pupils at differing stages of developmentCommitment, resilience and a passion for helping pupils succeed in their final year of primary school What you''ll get in return: Paid up to £200 per day (depending on experience)Free CV and interview ..... full job details .....
