Experience of working with seriously obese people and/or Tier weight management service. Experience of running groups and one-to-one Job Purpose: The successful candidate will provide a specialist Clinical Psychology service within the Tier 3 Weight Management pathway. This role involves supporting residents of Croydon borough who present with complex obesity and related health comorbidities. Key Responsibilities: Providing expert psychological assessments, developing and delivering tailored treatment interventions aligned to NICE guidelines and evidence-based practice for the management of obesity. Leading individual and group therapeutic sessions, both in-person and remotely (via platforms such as MS Teams), utilising diverse psychological interventions. Formulating complex psychological management plans collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support patients in achieving sustainable weight loss and lifestyle modifications. Making clinical decisions regarding treatment pathways, using a variety of theoretical models, while carefully considering each patient''s historical, emotional, developmental, and psychosocial contexts.
