Our client, a global leader in real estate and facilities management, is looking for an experienced

HVAP Shift Engineer

to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a

You''ll be part of a highly skilled shift team, working on a continental shift pattern, with great exposure to cutting-edge systems and continuous development opportunities.

Responsibilities

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across building systems and plant

Responding to BMS alarms and performing emergency repairs when needed

Acting as an Authorised Person (HVAP), preparing switching schedules and ensuring safe isolation/reinstatement of HV/LV equipment

Ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and compliance standards

Supervising subcontractors and ensuring they follow site procedures

Keeping accurate maintenance records and supporting with incident response

Building strong working relationships with client staff and your shift team

Maintaining professional standards and delivering excellent customer service

Qualifications

HV Authorisation (essential)

Level 3 NVQ in Electrical or Mechanical discipline

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

Strong experience in a critical environment (data centres preferred)

Excellent fault-finding and incident management skills

Good understanding of health and safety and safe systems of work

A proactive, organised, and reliable approach

Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
