Primary Teaching Assistant (SEN Support) – Ebbw Vale

In this role as a Primary Teaching Assistant in Ebbw Vale, you will play a vital part in creating a positive, nurturing learning environment. You will work closely with teachers and support pupils with special educational needs (SEN), helping to foster their social and academic growth. Your support will contribute significantly to delivering tailored learning activities and promoting independence among pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing high-quality classroom support to pupils in Ebbw Vale
• Assisting with planning and delivering engaging learning activities
• Supporting pupils with SEN to achieve their potential
• Maintaining a safe, welcoming, and organised classroom environment
• Supporting inclusion, promoting confidence and independence
• Assisting with personal care as required

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children, ideally in primary or SEN settings
• Strong communication and teamworking skills
• Ability to carry out personal care tasks
• Compassionate, patient, and proactive attitude
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one
• Flexibility to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
