Salary Range: andpound;33,075 andndash; andpound;50,471 (MPS/UPS or Unqualified Teacher scale, based on experience)
Are you enthusiastic about igniting a passion for Science and curiosity in students£ Weandrsquo;re looking for a dedicated and motivated Science Teacher to join a friendly secondary school community in Aylesbury, beginning September 2025.
This role is an excellent chance for qualified teachers, Early Career Teachers (ECT), or Unqualified Teachers (UQ) seeking valuable classroom experience and career development within a supportive, innovative department.
About the Role:
You will become part of a vibrant Science team that values creativity, collaboration, and innovation. Your main responsibility will be to deliver engaging lessons primarily across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on your expertise and subject focus (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
Key Duties:
- Design and deliver stimulating, differentiated Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Regularly evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning
- Assist in developing the Science curriculum and lead extracurricular activities such as STEM clubs, trips, or competitions
- Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment
- Engage in staff meetings, professional development days, and parent consultations
- Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school improvement projects
Who Weandrsquo;re Seeking:
- Qualified Teachers (QTS), Early Career Teachers (ECT), or Unqualified Teachers (UQ) with a strong Science background
- Individuals passionate about inspiring and educating young learners
- Strong subject knowledge and commitment to high academic achievement
