IT SupportWe are recruiting for a permanent MES Technician (IT Support) for our Banbury based client. This is a hands on role with a strong shop floor presence, supporting critical manufacturing software and hardware systems to ensure smooth, continuous production. Working closely with operations, quality, production teams and the MES Analyst, you will play a key part in maintaining, improving and developing MES and related systems, while providing first-line technical support and driving continuous improvement.This role would suit someone with an IT support or infrastructure background who is comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys problem-solving under pressure and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service with a strong focus on safety, quality and customer support.As IT Support, you will need to have/be:Professional, approachable and leads by exampleStrong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skillsOrganised, flexible and able to work under pressureProactive, results-driven with a strong safety and continuous improvement mindsetIT infrastructure or IT support experienceStrong technical troubleshooting skills (PCs, scanners, printers, mobile devices)Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and VisioExperience managing hardware repairs and vendor returnsExcellent customer-facing and interpersonal skillsExperience in automotive or fast-paced manufacturing environments (desirable)Exposure to SCADA, ERP, MES, PLC or Linux systems ..... full job details .....
