Field-Based Engineer About the RoleOur client is looking for a Field-Based Engineer to carry out the installation, repair, and servicing of mechanical and electrical equipment at customer sites. This is a mobile role that involves travel and hands-on technical work in a variety of environments.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Installing, maintaining, and repairing equipmentDiagnosing faults and completing effective repairsManaging and maintaining vehicle stockAccurately completing reports and documentation for internal processing and customer recordsDelivering excellent customer service while representing the company on-siteAs the face of the business, the engineer must uphold high standards of professionalism and work towards meeting service targets, including timely attendance and first-time fix rates.RequirementsFull UK driving licenceProven experience in fault finding, diagnosis, and repair within plant, automotive, or industrial machineryAbility to interpret technical manuals and CAD drawingsStrong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledgeGood understanding of Health and Safety regulationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated and enthusiastic, with a proactive attitudeCapable of working independently and as part of a teamFlexible and adaptable with a strong problem-solving approachBasic computer literacyFriendly, customer-focused approachDesirable CriteriaAwareness of LOLER and PUWER legislationNVQ qualification ..... full job details .....
