We are currently recruiting for an experienced Tool Room Engineer in Telford to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within a modern workshop environment. This is a days-only role on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, offering a great work-life balance.The RoleYou will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of engineering and toolroom activities, supporting tooling maintenance, repair, and modification to ensure production efficiency and quality standards are maintained.Key Responsibilities Interpreting engineering drawings to carry out repairs and modifications on toolingWorking with a variety of workshop machinery, including: CNC wire erosion (preferred)Milling machines (manual and CNC)Centre latheSurface grindersLaser welder (preferred) Supporting tooling issues and breakdowns when requiredCompleting tasks efficiently and to a high standardMaintaining excellent housekeeping standards within the toolroomWorking with minimal supervision while contributing positively within a team environmentAdhering to all health, safety, environmental, and quality proceduresSupporting continuous improvement within the toolroom Skills and Experience Required Level 3 qualification in Engineering (or equivalent)Time-served apprenticeship (preferred)Strong engineering aptitude with experience in a toolroom environmentAbility to read and interpret engineering ..... full job details .....
