Carpenter/Joiner
We are currently recruiting for experienced Carpenters / Joiners to join a well-established Housing Association operating across the East Midlands. This role sits within the Planned Works Team, focusing primarily on the installation and refurbishment of kitchens within occupied residential properties. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term contract with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.The RoleAs part of a dedicated kitchen fitting team, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality carpentry and joinery works within social housing properties, ensuring all work is completed to a professional standard with a strong focus on customer service.Typical duties will include:Kitchen fitting and installationReplacing kitchen units, worktops and associated joineryCompleting remedial carpentry worksWorking within occupied residential propertiesEnsuring all work complies with health and safety regulationsMaintaining excellent standards of workmanship and customer careRequirementsTo be considered for this position you must have:Previous experience working as a Carpenter / Joiner within a kitchen fitting or planned maintenance environmentExperience working within social housing, local authority or residential property maintenance (preferred)Own van and toolsFull UK driving licenceAbility to work independently and as part of a teamIdeally, you will hold:NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry and Joinery, orCity and Guilds qualification in ..... full job details .....
