Responsibilities
Providing support on carbon, sustainability, and net zero for our existing portfolio of major infrastructure projects and strategic clients.
Supporting the development of innovative carbon and sustainability strategies, designs, solutions, and management plans.
Project manage and coordinate sustainability inputs on major infrastructure projects.
Represent the company at external networks when required and continue to build personal, team and company reputation.
Support bid proposals, helping to author our submissions and ensuring win themes are retained throughout.
Although this is a nationwide opportunity, candidates that can be based out of one of our offices in London, Manchester or Bristol will be given preference.
Qualifications
You will be educated to degree level in an environmental / engineering related discipline and will be registered with a recognised relevant professional body.
Prior experience and up to date knowledge in some of the following is required: Carbon accounting / reporting, decarbonisation/net zero roadmaps, sustainability assessments, whole life carbon, sustainability reporting, sustainability strategy, renewable energy feasibility studies, supply chain engagement.
Possess strong interpersonal skills and experience working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including technical specialists at different levels.
Have strong report writing, communication and presentation skills which can be tailored to a range of audiences, seniorities, and technical competencies.
Understand UK sustainability and carbon guidance and standards used within infrastructure, such as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and PAS2080.
