Senior Mechanical Engineer – Warrington

Their project portfolio includes everything from large industrial and commercial developments (valued over £30 million) to smaller specialist schemes within the education, residential, retail, leisure and healthcare sectors.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver detailed mechanical building services design
• Producing calculations, reports, specifications and drawings using software such as IES, Revit and AutoCAD
• Designing energy-efficient, low-carbon systems tailored to the needs of each building
• Supporting and overseeing the delivery of projects from concept through to completion
• Coordinating with internal and external teams including structural engineers, architects, surveyors and contractors
• Attending design team and client meetings
• Ensuring all designs comply with current legislation and health & safety standards
• Advising clients and design teams on mechanical strategy, sustainability and system optimisation

Experience and Skills Required:

• Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
• Chartered or working towards chartership with CIBSE or IMechE
• Proficient in relevant design software including AutoCAD and ideally Revit
• Strong technical knowledge with a passion for low-energy design
• Collaborative approach and confident communicator across disciplines
