Daily Rate: -500 (Umbrella)

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to spearhead the rollout and commercial expansion of an innovative technology product that is poised for deployment. This is a remarkable opportunity to engage in a high-profile programme that emphasises internal adoption, field installations, third-party supplier management, and external sales growth. The technology in question represents a cutting-edge approach to monitoring and surveillance, with capabilities that include advanced camera integration and geophone technology.

In this pivotal role, the Project Manager will be the central point of coordination across multiple teams, ensuring that deployment activities are meticulously planned, managed, and executed. This is less about product development and more about effective implementation, stakeholder alignment, and achieving commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the successful rollout of an established technology product within operational environments.
• Serve as the primary link between operations, contractors, suppliers, commercial teams, and project sponsors.
• Ensure the timely delivery of installation and commissioning activities against set objectives.
• Monitor project performance, milestones, budgets, risks, and interdependencies.
• Lead project governance activities, manage reporting, and handle stakeholder communications.
• Organise regular project review meetings with internal teams and external partners.
• Oversee third-party suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with contractual commitments and KPIs.
• Assist with business readiness for smooth operational integration.
• Produce accurate project documentation, reports, forecasts, and performance updates.
• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance delivery processes and project outcomes.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience in delivering technology implementation, deployment, or operational rollout projects.
• Strong project management background within technical, engineering, infrastructure, utilities, or industrial environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to foster relationships across all organisational levels.
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers, and third-party delivery partners.
• Strong contract management proficiency.
• Competence in creating project reports, governance packs, and executive-level updates.
• Demonstrable ability to manage risks, budgets, schedules, and competing priorities.
• Exceptional communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial awareness with experience in supporting business growth initiatives.

Desirable Experience:

• Experience in launching, scaling, or commercialising technology-based products or services.
• Background in utilities, infrastructure, engineering, telecommunications, security technology, or industrial services.
• Knowledge of sales enablement, operational readiness, or business transformation projects.
• Project management qualifications such as Prince2, APM, PMP, or Agile.
