Field Service Technician - Electric Powered Vehicles / Equipment £35,000 per year - Mid 40s OTE North West DCS Engineering, a specialist recruitment agency, is working with a leading company in the North West who are looking to expand their team with an experienced Field Service Technician. This role involves servicing, maintaining, and diagnosing faults on a wide range of small electric vehicles and lifting equipment. Key Responsibilities Service and repair electric-powered trucks, lifting equipment, and small electric vehicles (12v - 96v systems)Advanced fault finding and diagnostics (field and workshop based)Provide detailed service reports and follow service protocolsManage van stock and collaborate with the technical teamCarry out LOLER and thorough examinations where requiredBuild and maintain strong customer relationships Requirements Proven field service experience with an electrical biasStrong background in mechanical and auto-electrical engineeringConfident with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs (AC and DC motors)Relevant technical qualification or hands-on experienceFull UK driving licenceFlexibility to travel and stay away occasionally Package Salary up to £35,000 (negotiable, with overtime at time and a half)Monday-Thursday: 7am-4pm, Friday: 7am-1pmPaid door-to-door travel£10 per day lunch allowanceCompany vehicleMobile phone and iPad provided25 days holiday + Bank HolidaysWorkplace pension and Death in Service coverCompany credit card for ..... full job details .....
