Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 (negotiable, dependant on experience)

An established leader in the subcontract manufacturing of precision machined components, serving a prestigious and diverse Aerospace client base with long-term 10-year programs. With a focus on engineering excellence, they provide high-quality solutions across the industry. Due to continued growth and reinvestment, there is a new opportunity for a skilled and experienced Quality Inspector to join their team.
Duties:
- Conduct manual quality inspection using standard inspection/checking equipment such as Micrometres, Calipers, Height Gauges, and Shadow Graph
- Operate both manual and CNC Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
- Program CMMs with PC DMIS software
- Utilise Visual FAIR software and potentially
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards
Key Skills:
- Experience as a Quality Inspector, particularly in mechanical quality inspection
- Familiarity with FAIR, CMM operation, and PC DMIS software
- Background in precision engineering and component manufacturing
- Knowledge of Aerospace industry standards such as AS9100
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within a small team environment
Hours of Work:
- 40 hours per week
- 4 days per week (10-hour shifts)
- Flexible start times, 6am to 8am
- Overtime available paid at x1.333hrs weekdays and x1.5 Saturdays
