Our client is seeking a proactive and organised individual to join their busy operations team, managing air import shipments from start to finish.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in airfreight imports who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering exceptional customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesManage air import shipments from start to finish, ensuring all operational and customs requirements are met.Monitor ETAs and proactively track incoming shipments.Book shipments from pre-alerts, working closely with the customer service team.Complete pre-lodgements and T1 documentation.Create and maintain ETSF records.Handle a portfolio of key customer accounts, providing a high level of service.Complete customs entries accurately and in line with current regulations.Prepare customer quotations.Arrange collections and deliveries with transport providers.Liaise with airlines, customers, hauliers and internal departments to ensure the smooth movement of freight.The Ideal CandidatePrevious experience in air import freight forwarding, managing shipments from start to finish.Experience using ASM GEMS is highly desirable.Strong knowledge of customs procedures, including customs entries, T1s and pre-lodgements.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.Strong communication skills ..... full job details .....
