We are recruiting for an RFIC Design Engineer to join our client in Cambridge — one of the world’s semiconductor leaders. UK visa sponsorship and relocation package is also available.Based in the UK’s high-tech hub of Cambridge, our global client operates a strategically important RFIC Design centre, working on RF transceivers in advanced process nodes. With a focus on state-of-the-art wireless technology (currently 5G, shifting to 6G), they have a great team with superb management—reflected by the fact that many people join the team and stay for many years.This role focuses on the specification, design, implementation and verification of challenging analog and RF circuit blocks and sub-systems for 5G RF ICs (such as filters, low-noise amplifiers, power amplifiers or mixers) to deliver excellent performance on first silicon.Responsibilities

Specification, design, implementation and verification of analog and RF circuit blocks and sub-systems for 5G RF ICs (e.g., filters, low-noise amplifiers, power amplifiers, mixers).Deliver excellent performance on first silicon.Qualifications

A BSc / MSc degree in Electronics Engineering or a similar fieldProven industrial experience designing RF circuits in advanced CMOS technologies (16nm or below)A strong analytical approach with a clear track record of success and deliveryAn excellent understanding of modern transceiver architectures and a good working knowledge of RF IC layout optimizationBenefits
