The role will focus primarily on civil and utilities projects for major water providers, operating within long-term framework arrangements. Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor will include:Working closely with the health and safety team and senior management, ensuring the health and safety management system is implemented effectivelyVisiting sites, auditing health and safety performance and acting as the primary point of contact on health and safety mattersAccurately reporting on health and safety performance and communicating this across the organisationInvestigating incidents and supporting effective close-out actions The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have:Proven experience in a similar role within construction, utilities or civil engineering environmentsExperience managing health and safety on sites with deep excavations and underground servicesNEBOSH General / Construction qualifications or equivalentStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to influence site teams and promote safe working practicesWorking ..... full job details .....
