Our client are looking for an experienced CAD Technician with a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Building Services.Key Responsibilities for the CAD Technician:Support project leads across all RIBA work stagesProduce accurate technical drawings and computations as requiredStay up to date with industry developments and maintain CPD commitmentsAdhere to internal procedures including document filing and CAD layering standardsEscalate any legal, contractual, or financial matters to a PartnerEssential Skills and Qualifications:Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and Revit 3DCurrent workload is approximately 95% 2D and 5% 3D, with a gradual shift anticipated towards 3DStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a teamCity and Guilds Certificate in Computer Aided Design (2D and 3D) is an advantageBenefits of the CAD Technician role:25 days annual leave + bank holidayFlexible working hours (choice of start and finish times based around a 7.25 hour working day, core hours between 10am-4.15pm) Life assurance cover (four times annual salary) for all colleagues.
