Project Manager (Retrofit Delivery / Planned Investment)

With a portfolio of over 60,000 homes and 3,000 more in the pipeline over the next five years, they play a key role in tackling the capital’s housing crisis. Alongside their core housing work, they operate a well-established commercial arm, reinvesting profits to fund affordable housing projects across the city.
We’re now looking to appoint a dynamic
Project Manager (Planned Investment)
to deliver retrofit projects (Wave 2.1 and 3) across social rent properties.
Strong construction project management experience is essential – retrofit knowledge is a bonus. The role focuses on the delivery phase, not design or assessment.

Key Responsibilities
Lead multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver retrofit programmes.Manage contractors and consultants, ensuring works are on time, on budget, and to quality standards.Oversee project budgets, contracts, KPIs, and reporting.Ensure health and safety compliance, risk management, and statutory requirements (incl. Building Safety Act).Work closely with colleagues on strategy, pre-works, and commercial matters.Sign off projects at handover and defects stages, ensuring high-quality outcomes.Maintain accurate programme data and support grant compliance.
Requirements
Qualification in Project Management / Retrofit (Level 2–5) and/or membership of
RICS / CIOB / APM .Strong project management experience in
construction/retrofit.Excellent communication, stakeholder, and contractor management skills.Knowledge of JCT Design and Build or Measured Term contracts.Ability to analyse risks, find solutions, and deliver to tight deadlines.Skilled in MS Project, Excel, and related tools.Passion for sustainability, funding compliance, and climate-focused housing improvements.Commitment to equality, diversity, and serving diverse communities.Enhanced DBS check required.
