Avanti Recruitment is working with a precision engineering and manufacturing business supplying highly regulated industries is looking to appoint an experienced Quality Engineer to join its growing team near Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Quality Engineer who enjoys working closely with manufacturing, engineering drawings and precision-machined components in a technically challenging environment.The business operates within low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing across sectors including defence, nuclear and advanced engineering. The work is varied, technically interesting and focused on high-quality bespoke components rather than repetitive production.Responsibilities: Managing NCRs and corrective actions Reviewing engineering drawings and customer requirements Support manufacturing quality activities Conducting root cause investigations Supporting audits and continuous improvement initiatives Producing and maintaining quality documentation Supporting inspection and metrology activities Liaising with customers and suppliers on quality matters The Quality Engineer will support manufacturing quality activities across the business, working closely with production, inspection and engineering teams.
