Goodman Masson are currently working with a London social housing organisation to recruit for an interim Fire Risk Assessor.Pay - £250 - £350 per day INSIDE IR35About the RoleAs a Fire Risk Assessor, you ll carry out detailed inspections and produce high-quality reports that ensure compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Fire Safety Act 2021, and other relevant legislation.You ll work collaboratively with colleagues across Housing, Asset Management, and Compliance to deliver a proactive, risk-based approach to fire safety.Key responsibilities include: Conducting and documenting Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) in line with statutory requirements and best practice.Completing person-centred FRAs and supporting vulnerable residents where needed.Ensuring all assessments are delivered to agreed timescales and quality standards.Collaborating with housing and fire authorities on hoarding and other safety concerns.Quality-assuring the work of staff, contractors, and consultants involved in fire safety activities.Supporting new build projects through fire safety reviews of plans, Reg 38 documentation, and site visits.Providing fire safety training and awareness sessions for staff and residents.Assisting in Fire and Rescue Service audits and investigations into fires or false alarms.Maintaining professional competence through ongoing CPD.
