This role involves maintaining and expanding our digital audience, enhancing online fan engagement, and leading digital strategy and execution.You will manage and develop the digital team, oversee partnerships, and identify growth opportunities. Reporting to the Head of Digital and Content, your responsibilities include managing web and app ownership, supporting content strategies, exploring streaming opportunities, leveraging data, ensuring accessibility, enhancing user engagement, and integrating new technologies like AI and digital ticketing.Main AccountabilitiesLead a team managing web and app platforms, supporting development aligned with club priorities.Manage relationships with digital partners across various platforms.Support content development for web and app, focusing on value-driven content and monetization.Enhance streaming services and explore new opportunities for digital engagement.Utilize data analytics to maximize value from data sources and improve digital strategies.Collaborate with internal teams to improve accessibility and user experience.Drive gamification initiatives to boost engagement and loyalty.Develop strategies to enhance connectivity within the stadium environment.Support digital ticketing implementation and evolution.Identify and onboard new technologies to support departmental and club objectives.Lead AI integration efforts to improve efficiency across digital operations.Support paid media campaigns to maximize marketing impact.General Club AccountabilitiesEnsure compliance with all policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, GDPR, and PECR.Uphold the Club’s Code of Conduct and legal standards.Maintain professional relationships internally and externally.Protect confidentiality and demonstrate flexibility in work approach.Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote mental health and wellbeing.Support and promote equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.Key Internal RelationshipsExtensive knowledge of digital marketing and platforms, with adaptability to technological changes.Experience managing teams and fostering innovative team cultures.Proven success in digital transformation and platform development.Creative, risk-aware thinker maintaining brand consistency and club values.Organized with a proactive planning approach.Data-driven, skilled in analytics to evaluate and refine strategies.A passionate football fan with relevant experience in sports or fan-facing environments.Collaborative team player focused on club success.Comfortable under pressure in fast-paced settings.Experience with digital projects in sports or similar sectors is advantageous.Understanding of broad technology principles or experience in tech-led roles is a plus.Proficiency with mobile and loyalty applications.#J-18808-Ljbffr
