Technical Architect

to lead teams and develop high-quality solutions that delight customers and impact users worldwide. As a technical leader on a project, you’ll work with customer architects to agree technical designs, advise on estimated effort and the technical implications of user stories, and manage a small staff with a focus on performance and career development. It’s a fast-paced environment with opportunities to learn about new technologies and grow.Responsibilities

Lead teams and develop high quality solutions that meet customer needs and user requirements.Collaborate with customer architects to agree technical designs and advise on estimated effort and technical implications of user stories.Manage, coach and develop a small team, focusing on performance management and career development.Make sound, reasoned decisions in a fast-paced delivery environment while continuing to learn new technologies and approaches.Minimum (essential) Requirements

Experience with the following technical stack: AWS, Node (or any JavaScript frameworks), TypeScript, Terraform, AWS CDK.Experience delivering software designs for multi-tiered modern software applications.Experience of technical ownership for a product/software project, including architecture, estimation, product planning, and user story/requirement creation.Understanding non-functional concerns for customers and incorporating these into the application design.Experience with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS and Azure), including SaaS and PaaS offerings.Clear communication of technical design in conversation, documentation and presentations.Ability to make effective decisions within fast-moving delivery.Demonstrated ability in managing, coaching and developing junior members of the team and wider community.Desirable

Good communication skills to convey issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience with multiple programming languages and data storage technologies.Experience in managing others, setting objectives, giving feedback and leading performance reviews.Active participation in knowledge sharing within the team and at a wider capability level and externally where appropriate.Participation in technology communities.Additional information
