Our client are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join the Service Department, supporting a leading global provider of food production technology. This is a hands-on role where you''ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing specialist equipment, ensuring customers receive a professional and efficient service. What you''ll be doing Service and install a wide range of food production equipment (including slicers, mincers, packaging systems, and associated software).Carry out repairs on retail scales and investigate electrical, mechanical, and network-related issues.Deliver customer training on equipment use and best practice.Manage and maintain effective stock levels of spare parts.Ensure company vehicle, tools, and equipment are kept in excellent condition.Complete all required administration, reports, and compliance documentation to a high standard.Attend training courses and maintain up-to-date Health and Safety qualifications.Participate in out-of-hours work and occasional overnight stays when required.Support rollout and refit activities in line with business needs.
