The Opportunity
As a Client-Side Project Manager, you'll be responsible for helping clients successfully navigate every stage of the project lifecycle.
Working closely with Project Directors and multidisciplinary teams, you'll manage programmes, coordinate consultants, oversee delivery strategies, and support clients in achieving their commercial and operational objectives.

What You'll Be Doing
As our Construction Client-Side Project Manager, you will:
- Take ownership of project planning, procurement activities, consultant coordination, and project delivery strategies
- Lead project meetings, stakeholder workshops, and site coordination activities
- Monitor programme performance, project milestones, and key delivery objectives
- Track costs, risks, opportunities, and commercial considerations throughout project lifecycles
- Identify project challenges early and implement solutions to minimise risk and maintain programme certainty
- Manage contract administration processes and project governance requirements
- Produce client reports, progress updates, and project documentation using Monaghans' best-practice frameworks
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders
- Support the successful delivery of projects across multiple sectors and client groups
- Represent Monaghans professionally and contribute to our reputation for exceptional client service
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who combines strong technical project management skills with excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Consultancy-based Project Management experience within the construction industry
- Strong understanding of the complete project lifecycle, from feasibility and procurement through to delivery and handover
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams and managing stakeholder expectations
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Sound understanding of contracts, procurement processes, project controls, and construction delivery
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to project challenges
- Experience producing high-quality reports, presentations, and project documentation
- Strong digital and IT skills
- Desirable
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Project Management, Building Surveying, or a related discipline
- Chartered status, or actively working towards professional accreditation
- Experience working across multiple sectors including Residential, Commercial, Retail, or Leisure
- Experience working within both public and private sector environments
- Familiarity with project management best-practice methodologies and frameworks
