Role Title: Corporate Finance Manager (Technical Accounts)Type: Interim 6-month contractDay Rate: £500 to £700 per day Inside IR35Hybrid: Ideally, 2 to 3 days per weekLocation: Warwickshire Sellick Partnership are working with a local authority who are seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Manager to join their finance team on an interim basis. This is a hands-on technical finance position and would suit a fully qualified accountant with strong recent local authority experience, particularly within a District or Borough Council. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a broad range of corporate finance activities and will be expected to get involved in the detail rather than simply manage the function. Initially, the successful candidate will be required to work on site in Warwickshire for approximately four days per week for the first couple of weeks, allowing them to understand the current position and meet key stakeholders. Following this, the requirement is expected to reduce to approximately 2-3 days per week on site, depending on business need. The responsibilities of the Corporate Finance Manager will be: Taking a hands-on lead across the council''s core corporate finance function, including the production of the Statement of Accounts and supporting the external audit process.
