Hardfacing Welder Location: Sheffield37 hours per week Monday-FridayCore hours 7:30am-4:00pm 12:30pm finish on FridaysSalary: £19.07ph Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a specialist engineering business to recruit a highly skilled Hardfacing Welder to join their Welding Shop department. This role is focused on producing high-quality hardfacing and weld overlay work to strict customer drawings and specifications. The components manufactured are used in extremely hostile and high-wear environments, meaning precision, durability and quality are critical. Key Responsibilities: Producing high-quality hardfacing and weld overlays in line with customer specifications MIG and TIG welding to high standards and tolerances Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation Inspecting completed work and carrying out basic quality checks Maintaining welding equipment and adhering to all HSE procedures Working to agreed timescales without compromising on quality We are keen to speak with candidates who have: Time-served welding background with strong MIG and TIG experience Proven experience in hardfacing or a strong technical understanding of wear-resistant applications Ability to confidently read and work from engineering drawings High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work Strong awareness of health and safety responsibilities Flexibility to support business needs where required Desirable: PTAW experience Formal ..... full job details .....
