The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Telford from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term supply basis.
 
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons, helping students develop their mathematical knowledge, understanding, fluency and problem-solving skills.
 
You will be responsible for planning and delivering effective lessons, assessing student progress and maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
 
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will:

• Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
• Have experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting
• Deliver engaging and appropriately challenging lessons
• Demonstrate effective classroom management skills
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners
• Be organised, reliable and committed to supporting student progress
• Build positive and professional relationships with students and colleagues 

School
You will be joining an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Telford, working as part of the Maths department and wider teaching team.
 
This full-time, long-term supply opportunity provides an excellent chance to contribute to students’ learning and development while gaining valuable experience within a secondary school environment.
