_ Role Profile _Vehicle Maintenance Technician Location We are looking for either a Mobile Vehicle Maintenance Technician serving London and the Home Counties or workshop based at Fiveways House, Pipps Hill Industrial Estate, Howard Chase, Basildon, Essex, SS14 3BD Appointing Manager Manager of Appointing Manager Vehicle Maintenance Manager Primary purpose of the role To work under the direction of the Vehicle Maintenance Manager to ensure that all duties are carried out promptly, efficiently, and effectively on maintaining vehicles To undertake the maintenance and repair of HGV refuse collection vehicles Liaising with Vehicle Maintenance Manager to ensure all vehicle MOT preparation, servicing and repair requirements are met and that all vehicles are only released in a safe and roadworthy condition. Ensuring that all paperwork regarding the MOT preparation, servicing and repair of vehicles conforms to ''O'' Licence requirements and is accurately completed Key Relationships Focus Customers Able to diagnose, service and repair a wide Service Desk Manager variety of vehicles Vehicle Maintenance Technicians Working in accordance with Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, COSHH, LOLER, etc Vehicle Maintenance Manager Building relationships with work colleagues, DVSA MOT testers customers, and other third parties Managing Director Parts Manager Business Development Manager Performance Indicators Vehicle downtime minimised MOT pass rates high Complaints from customers minimal ..... full job details .....
