Warehouse Deputy Team Leader Location: Ashton-in-Makerfield Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Job Type: Permanent, Full Time The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Deputy Team Leader to join a busy manufacturing and warehouse operation in Ashton-in-Makerfield. Working alongside the Warehouse Team Leader, you will help ensure the safe, efficient and organised storage and movement of materials across the site. You will also take responsibility for supporting inventory control, warehouse compliance and the servicing and maintenance of service units. This is a hands-on position suited to someone with warehouse experience, strong attention to detail and a good level of mechanical aptitude. Key Responsibilities Support the Warehouse Team Leader with the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse. Ensure all warehouse, loading and unloading activities are carried out safely and in line with legislation. Assist with the storage, servicing and loading of service units. Ensure service units are stored correctly and safely. Carry out initial quality checks when service units are received. Complete safety and maintenance checks and report any issues. Carry out required repairs before service units are filled. Liaise with other departments to ensure service units are prepared to meet customer requirements.
