Konker is recruiting for a Conservation / Heritage Architect to lead and grow a Heritage department within a multi-disciplinary consultancy in the North West.
 
With 50+ staff across architecture, building surveying and project management, the business has a strong pipeline across health, education, industrial/logistics and defence sectors.
 
Due to continued growth, they are bringing heritage work back in-house, creating a key leadership opportunity.
 
You''ll take ownership of heritage and conservation projects from the outset, acting as the lead and client-facing specialist while shaping the future of the department.
 
Key responsibilities:

• Lead conservation and heritage projects from concept to completion
• Prepare heritage statements, impact assessments and planning documentation
• Liaise with clients, planning authorities and conservation officers
• Provide technical guidance across the wider architectural team
