About the RoleAs a Claims Handler, you will deliver a market leading claims service, ensuring all claims are assessed accurately, managed efficiently, and handled in line with policy wording. You will be responsible for your own caseload, liaising with clients and internal specialists to achieve fair, timely and cost effective outcomes. Key Responsibilities Review insurance claims including Tribunal papers and available evidence, making accurate decisions aligned with policy wording. Liaise directly with clients to ensure timely and well communicated decisions. Manage your own workload effectively, balancing claims of varying priority levels. Monitor claim progress and collaborate with Liability Consultants to secure strong outcomes for clients. Review and respond to settlement contribution requests from Litigation Consultants. Assess unsuccessful Tribunal cases against HR advice logs to determine policy coverage. Apply accurate reserving in line with methodology and ensure all claims data is recorded correctly.
