Interim Senior Commercial Surveyor Based in London, hybrid Inside IR35 We''re working with a London Local Authority who are seeking an experienced, commercially minded Senior Commercial Surveyor to play a leading role in shaping and delivering the Council''s property strategy. Key Responsibilities include: Manage the Councils property portfolio to maximise value, reduce costs, improve long-term performance, and generate financial, social, and economic benefitsIdentify and deliver value-add opportunities and asset management initiativesLead on commercial arrangements, including leases and acquisitionsDrive regeneration opportunities through development enabling work and ensure asset disposals reflect Council priorities and best value principlesOversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial management for a portfolio valued at approximately £2.77bn Experience and knowledge required: Significant experience in property portfolio management within a complex, multi-stakeholder environmentStrong commercial insight and understanding of property markets, development, and asset managementCurrently working as a property professional in the public or private sector within property, infrastructure, or housingExperience navigating public policy, preparing land development activities, and producing acquisition/disposal strategiesExpert knowledge of legislative, policy, and contextual frameworks affecting the service To apply for this role or to find out about other jobs, please contact ..... full job details .....
