Job Title: Interim Knowledge and Information Management (KIM) Consultant - Central Government Location: Hybrid (Central London andamp; Remote)Clearance: SC Clearance Overview: We are seeking an experienced Interim Knowledge and Information Management (KIM) Consultant to support a Central Government department in reviewing, rationalising, and enhancing its KIM practices. This is a hybrid role requiring a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in Google Workspace, including Google Vault, and a deep understanding of government KIM standards and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Conduct a comprehensive review of current KIM practices, tools, and structures. Identify inefficiencies and gaps in compliance with government KIM requirements. Develop a roadmap for a more streamlined, secure, and user-friendly KIM environment. Provide expert guidance on the use of Google Workspace tools for document and information management. Ensure appropriate use and configuration of Google Vault for retention, eDiscovery, and compliance. Engage with stakeholders across departments to embed best practices and promote cultural change. Draft and implement updated KIM policies, procedures, and governance frameworks. Essential Skills andamp; Experience: Proven experience delivering KIM solutions within UK Central Government or similar regulated environments.
