Production Operative – Immediate Start – Hereford

We are recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of a global engineering leader specialising in high-performance alloys for aerospace, power generation, space exploration, and defence. Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Operating manufacturing machinery including lathes, grinders, saws, drills, and handheld tools
- Setting up machines for production runs and ensuring correct operation throughout the shift
- Using precision measuring equipment such as gauges, tape measures, and rulers to check tolerances and product quality
- Following technical instructions, diagrams, or production schedules accurately
- Performing basic machine maintenance and safety checks
- Working to strict quality standards and completing relevant production documentation
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area in line with health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets
- Adapting to different tasks and processes as required by production demands

What We’re Looking For

- Previous manufacturing or production experience (essential)
- Ability to operate or set up industrial machinery and tools
- Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
- Willingness to work a 3-shift rotation (6–2 / 2–10 / 10–6)
- Dependable, adaptable, and committed to working as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
