TMM are working exclusively with a high growth energy business seeking an exceptional Head of Tax to lead and oversee all aspects of tax across their global business. This is a senior leadership position, responsible for setting and executing their tax strategy, ensuring compliance, and acting as a trusted advisor to the business at both strategic and operational levels.Key Responsibilities

Owning and leading the organisation’s tax strategy, advisory and compliance agenda across all jurisdictions.Developing and maintaining a robust tax control framework, ensuring effective governance and risk management.Providing expert advice on UK and international taxation, including cross-border structuring and transfer pricing.Acting as the company’s trusted tax advisor, working closely with senior leadership and external stakeholders.Leading, inspiring and developing a high-performing tax team.Partnering with business leaders to support strategic transactions and drive long-term value creation.About You

A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) or Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).Proven track record in UK and international tax within a complex multinational environment.Strong expertise in tax strategy, advisory and compliance.Demonstrated experience operating at senior leadership level with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.Strategic mindset with the ability to navigate complex issues while remaining hands-on when needed.Willingness to travel occasionally for business needs.This is an outstanding opportunity to shape the tax agenda of a multinational business and make a real impact at board level.We welcome applications from across Scotland.
