We are recruiting for Field Support Engineers join a market leader based in Milton Keynes, who are seeking staff to join their core installation team. Please note, this role does require candidates to hold a full UK driving licence, be able to work weekends, and commit to overnight stays. Company vehicle and fuel card provided, along with tools. Overview: Traveling daily to customer sites across Midlands and South East, to replace, swap, or repair IT devices. The role includes regular travel, occasional overnight stays, and a 5-day schedule across 7 days, including alternate weekends. Shifts typically run between 08:30-17:30 but may vary from 06:00-21:00 depending on the client. Overtime, Company Car and Fuel Card Provided . Duties: Installation: Install, refurbish, and maintain IT equipment including tills, Chip and PIN devices, tablets, digital signage, media screens, kitchen systems, Wi-Fi, and structured cabling (Cat5/5e/6 and Fibre). Site Services: Carry out swap-outs, repairs, and support work, ensuring all processes, paperwork, and customer requirements are followed accurately. Communication: Liaise with clients to understand needs, explain technical issues, and follow escalation protocols when required. Cabling and Termination: Install and terminate network cabling on patch panels and modules as needed. Site Work: Conduct surveys, audits, and research to support installations and project delivery.
