We''re looking for a Field Service Engineer who thrives on problem-solving, takes pride in quality workmanship, and enjoys the variety of working both on-site and in-house. Most importantly, we’re after someone with the right mindset and skill set to hit the ground running.

As a Field Service Engineer, your responsibilities will be:

• Carrying out planned maintenance and fault-finding on high-spec industrial equipment
• Working with PLC-controlled systems and remote diagnostics
• Performing repairs, remedial works, and supporting R&D tasks
• Collaborating with a nationwide team while managing your own workload
• Travelling across the UK, with occasional nights away and potential training in Germany

As a Field Service Engineer, we’re looking for:

• A solid background in electrical and mechanical engineering
• Diagnostic experience desirable
• Ideally experience of working on heavy plant machinery such as excavators, diggers, concrete mixers, tractors etc.
• Exposure to CANbus systems and remote-control diagnostics is desirable.
• An apprenticeship or equivalent formal qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, etc.)
• Someone self-motivated, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently
