Network Technician£31,500 + on call allowanceNorth Wales - hybrid workingOur client in North Wales is currently on the lookout for a Network Technician who will work alongside the IT Manager and provide technical knowledge and support regarding network systems and across a range of devices and technologies.Main duties and responsibilities:Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the network and telecom systemsMonitor network performance, trends and eventsAssist with installations, rectification of faults, repairs and redesigns of the infrastructureUndertake planned maintenance, modification, backup and patching of all network and telecom devicesProvide support to the other ICT teams for Infrastructure issuesAssist with the research and development of ICT Infrastructure technologies and assess their impact and suitability for the Service environment.Assist with the production of contract specifications and project scopesThe following skills and experience will be useful for this role:Working knowledge of Networks to CCNA or equivalent standardsAt least 2 years'' experience of providing network support across sites using WAN/LAN technologiesGood attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solvingAbility to communicate effectively and support training of othersAbility to meet targets, deadlines and work under pressureSome of the benefits that come with this role:25 days + bank holidaysFlexible start and end timesLocal Government pension scheme Health, fitness and ..... full job details .....
