We are looking for a caring, dynamic and highly motivated person to join the team as a Senior Support Worker in our Thornaby Supported Living Services. Our Thornaby Supported Living Services provides support to service users with learning disabilities. Thornaby LD Supported Living Service is composed of 15 flats, offering core support 24/7 and commissioned 121 support additional to this. As a Senior Support Worker, you will work alongside the Team Leader to assist with the coordination and delivery of high-quality outcome-focused, person centred support to tenants. You will be positive about supporting people to increase their independence and ensure that they are at the centre of all decisions made about their lives. Your role will include: Developing and leading the team to enable the tenants to have a high quality of life, and to be important and valued members of the local communityBe responsible for ensuring personal, practical, emotional and social support is delivered at all timesAssisting our Team Leaders and Registered Manager in ensuring all residents receive the highest quality and care and support Your full-time hours will be worked flexibly according to the needs of the service including daytimes, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. At least two years'' experience in providing care and support to people with a range of learning disability support needs is essential for this role.
