Salary: -34,985.60 plus shift allowance of -203 per month

8 on, 6 off shift pattern



Location: Basingstoke Compost Site, RG25 2NS

The site handles 100,000 tonnes of green waste and produces 45,000 tonnes of quality Compost.

What will you be doing?

• Oversee/maintain the working processes of the facility including frontline operations, mobile plant and processing equipment
  
• Lead operatives, motivating, assigning tasks and monitoring quality standards
  

• Induct and monitor specific specialised contractors that are required to maintain the safe operations of the facility.
  
• Assist with investigating and reporting findings of process incidents and accidents
  
• Ensure odour management plan, environmental permitting and planning permission management practices are adhered to at all times.
  

• To ensure that faults on plant and machinery are reported
  
• Supervise the facility in the absence of the process supervisor
  

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience within a similar operational management role
  
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
  
• Operational knowledge of plant and mobile equipment
