Learning Support Assistant (SEN) - Colchester

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (SEN) to support pupils with Special Educational Needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Working closely with teachers and the SEND team, you will help pupils access learning, build confidence, develop independence, and celebrate success every day.

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs
• Help pupils engage positively in lessons and school life
• Support emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour strategies
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
• Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
• Contribute to EHCP outcomes and support plans

• Working with children or young people
• Experience supporting SEND, SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or communication needs
