Head of Product Engineering (Quality), Amazon Private Brand

Shenzhen BranchAmazon Private Label Quality Team is looking for a smart, energetic, hard-working, and creative team player to join our team. This is an exciting and challenging position where you will be responsible for supporting Amazon’s Private Brands global products development and validation.In this role as Head of Product Engineering (Quality), you will be responsible to lead and manage simultaneously a team of quality development managers across multiple product categories and market places. In addition, in this role, you will support and drive process improvement initiatives across Amazon.Demonstrate ability to manage multiple complex projects - work prioritization, planning and task delegationManage quality metrics and performance by ensuring necessary reviews and actions are in-place, leading meetings and projects as needed globally. Involves determining and executing strategies and goals for improving quality and productivityImprove visibility of Product development and validation processes by designing appropriate reporting and communicate plan to partners stakeholdersOwn and drive the Product development roadmap for management metrics and provide key interface and insightful analysis regarding headcount and capital resourcesIntegrate strong and clear analysis and business rationale into sound decision makingBASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in science or engineeringStrong knowledge of product development and product quality processes in diverse industries10-year experience in product development, manufacturing or testing in manufacturing sector or sourcing office of global retailerProcess and data orientedExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things doneMust be able to think creatively and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in Business, Engineering or a Scientific discipline preferred10+ years of experience successfully managing complex product programs, with large, technically-savvy, cross-functional teams.
