HGV Class 1 Driver Menzies Distribution Solutions are looking for a number of HGV drivers that hold a C+E licence to join us, providing a first class service with our team in Carrington. You''ll be undertaking the delivery and collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customers.The Details: Salary: £40,492.45 Per Annum (Overtime - 1.5x after 47.5)Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday DaysStart Times: Flexiblity requiredHours: 47.5 Hours Per WeekMonthly PayParking Onsite HGV Class 1 Driver duties: General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer''s premises or other locationsDelivering product on behalf of Menzies Distribution and our customerUse of electronic P.O.D and up to date technology (full training will be given to ensure best practice)Assisting with loading and unloading Our ideal candidate: Full UK Category C+E (Class 1) LicenceValid Driver CPC QualificationDigital Tachograph CardGood understanding of EU Drivers'' Hours Rules and Working Time DirectiveClean or acceptable driving recordStrong driving skills with the ability to handle articulated vehicles safelyExcellent knowledge of road safety legislation and transport regulationsAbility to carry out vehicle checks and report defects accuratelyNight out requirement due to business needs.
