About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced and resilient Maths Teacher on behalf of a specialist school in Wandsworth. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about making a difference to some of the most vulnerable young people in education.

You will be working in a small, nurturing environment where quality of relationships matters as much as quality of teaching. No two days are the same - and the impact you make is real.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons tailored to the needs of pupils
• Build positive, trusting relationships with students who may have experienced trauma, exclusion or significant barriers to learning
• Work closely with SENCOs, support staff and external agencies to provide a consistent, structured approach
• Adapt your teaching style to meet a wide range of emotional and academic needs
• Contribute to a calm, safe and supportive school environment
• Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents

What We''re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
• Previous experience in an SEMH, PRU, SEN or alternative provision setting - desirable
• Calm, patient, and resilient with a genuine commitment to inclusive education
• Strong behaviour management skills with a trauma-informed approach
• A team player who thrives in a close-knit, supportive staff environment
