Kestrel HR is delighted to be supporting this wonderful gem of a family-owned restaurant near Leyland, in Lancashire.We''re looking for a Head Chef to lead our small team with a fresh and modern approach to classic Italian cuisine.The role is for c35 hours a week, and pays up to £16.48 per hour to start (c£30 ,000 per annum). This is negotiable for candidates with excellent experience, and as you settle in, and the business grows, there''ll be the chance to revise the pay rate, commensurate with the value you bring to the team.The restaurant closes on a Monday, so that''s one of the prescribed days off, and you can choose to have Sunday, Wednesday or Thursday as your other day off. Tuesday is prep day, and naturally Fridays and Saturdays are our busiest.A normal working day is 3:00pm - 10:00pm, so not too early, and not too late, making the schedule a good one for a balanced home and work-life.If you can master a Marinara, make a radiant Ragu, or you''re a Carbonara champion, then this may be the role for you.
