Stores and FLT Operator Location: NE27 Pay Rate: £13.80 per hour + shift enhancements Contract: Temporary ongoing Shifts: Early: 6:30am 2:30pm Late: 1:30pm 10:30pm Purpose of the Role Due to an increase in projects, we are recruiting an additional, experienced engineering stores operator with FLT licences (ideally Reach) to support operations within a well-established engineering company. You will play a key role in the safe and efficient movement, storage, and handling of materials within the warehouse and production areas. Key Responsibilities Operate Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse Ensure goods are stored correctly and securely Support stock control and general warehouse duties as required Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping Follow company procedures and site regulations at all times Essential Requirements FLT licence external qualification, in date (essential) Full UK driving licence (preferred) Ability to work early and late shifts on a rotating basis Good attention to detail and strong safety awareness Additional Information This position is offered on an ongoing temporary contract.
