Our client a Hertfordshire based Main Contractor currently seek an experienced all round Carpenter to work across several of their sites within a 15 mile radius of Luton, Bedfordshire. The work itself is either new build of refurbishment contracts. It is essential that you hold a CSCS card and can provide recent work references to vouch for your skillset. Duties Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, frameworks, and fixtures according to specifications. All 1st and 2nd Fix Carpentry work Perform joinery work, ensuring precision and attention to detail. Use power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. Carry out heavy lifting tasks as required for transporting materials and equipment. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including electricians and masons, to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with building codes. Requirements Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and carpentry principles. Ability to operate various power tools safely and efficiently. Experience with heavy lifting; physical stamina is essential for this role.
